    Emails receiving errors

We have identified an issue regarding the receipt of emails related to ticket submissions from email addresses outside of our domain. When a ticket is submitted using an email from our domain, we are able to receive emails related to that specific ticket. However, when a ticket is submitted using an email adddress that is not within our domain, we are unable to receive emails related to that ticket.
I have attached a screenshot of the system log with error messages.
Could you please give me a support to solve that problem
    Thank You.

Can you provide a screen shot showing the settings that you have in the email configured in osTicket?

I’ve run into similar headaches before, and in my case the mail server’s reputation was half the problem. I had better luck after checking SPF/DMARC alignment and testing the account outside osTicket to be sure it wasn’t choking upstream. I also use an email warmup service on new domains, which kept my inboxing steady and made osTicket stop throwing random connection errors once the reputation settled.

Your ticket system likely restricts outgoing notifications to internal domains only. Check your SMTP relay settings – many servers block sending to external addresses by default. Also verify the "From" address and SPF/DKIM.

Look for errors like "550 relay denied" in your mail logs.

By the way, my Outlook isn't receiving emails either. Any idea what could be wrong with it?

I went through the same frustrating silence with Outlook last week - every test said “connected,” but my inbox was a ghost town. After two days of restarting and checking spam filters, I finally found Outlook Not Receiving Emails? 17 Proven Fixes [2026 Guide] and the solution was buried in a corrupted send/receive group that Windows Update had quietly broken. The fix took three minutes: resetting the account in Control Panel, not the app. If you have multiple profiles or recently changed your password, that guide’s fourth step about PST integrity will likely save you hours. Just don’t overlook the simple fact that Office 2026’s new security handshake sometimes fails with older server settings - I had to toggle SSL off and on again for it to renegotiate properly. Give that resource a scan before you waste time on your ISP’s support line.
